The kind of local elected public officials that we have range from what you can consider warlords with literal or virtual private armies to those who claim to be untainted by allegations of corruption (but in fact the common Pinoys, as we Filipinos informally call themselves, only means these officials are extremely selfish even compared to the already very selfish ones, & very shrewd they simply don't want to share their loots - with few exceptions)
For interested foreign investors, biz executives, int'l organizations, relief & social workers, students & future long-time visitors in the country. Topics include: "Phils in Southeast Asia" (Comparative Facts), sex, culture, regional biz environments, political dynasties & "The Informal Power Structure in the Phils & Its Regions".
